Guest Singers
SING WITH US AS A GUEST SINGER!
From time to time we invite GUEST SINGERS to join us for specific concerts and events without having to make a long term commitment to the choir. This usually involves attending rehearsals in advance of the concert and singing in the concert itself. There is usually a fee charged which will be advertised below.
So, if we are singing a piece you love, take a look below to see if you can join us a guest singer.
We also hold workshop events to which guests are usually invited.

2023/24 Season
Brahms ‘German Requiem’ & ‘Schicksalslied’ (Song of Destiny)
Join us to rehearse and perform Brahms’ wonderful ‘German Requiem’ and ‘Schicksalslied’ (Song of Destiny) with one of the country’s leading soprano soloists. The concert perfomance will take place on Saturday 29th June 2024 in the Victoria Hall, Sheffield with soprano soloist Elizabeth Watts. It is a joint concert with the Sheffield Bach Society.
Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays commencing 13th March and each subsequent Wednesday until the concert in St. Andrew’s Church, Psalter Lane, Sheffield S11 8YL (please note no rehearsal on Wednesday 3rd April).
There will also be joint rehearsals with the Sheffield Bach Society on Monday 17th June and 24th June at Cemetery Road Baptist Church, Sheffield S11 8HA
The fee for guest singers is £25 including hire of music.
