Guest Singers

SING WITH US AS A GUEST SINGER!

From time to time we invite GUEST SINGERS to join us for specific concerts and events without having to make a long term commitment to the choir. This usually involves attending rehearsals in advance of the concert and singing in the concert itself. There is usually a fee charged which will be advertised below.

So, if we are singing a piece you love, take a look below to see if you can join us a guest singer.

We also hold workshop events to which guests are usually invited.

LITHA - A choral almanac of music inspired by the Summer Solstice

Join with us to rehearse and perform our Summer concert with works to include:

Ola Gjeilo - ‘Sunrise Mass’
Eric Whitacre - ‘Lux Aurumque’
Timothy Peters - ‘Abdication of the Oak King’ (World Premiere)

and works by Anna Lapwood, Bob Dylan, Katerina Gimon, John Rutter, David McGregor, Arthur Sullivan & Benjamin Britten

With South Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra

Rehearsals take place at St. Andrew’s Church, Psalter Lane, Sheffield S11 8YL on Wednesdays at 7:30pm commencing 1st April 2026 and each subsequent Wednesday until the concert except for 8th April. You are expected attend most rehearsals including the final afternoon rehearsal at St Andrews on Saturday 20th June 2026.

The fee for guest singers is £35 including hire of music
